John's Pictures in The Times

Well, sort of.

Actually, it's just a single picture I took, it's kind of small, and it's in black and white, but I'm still rather pleased nonetheless. It appeared in a column about Wistman's Wood on Darmoor, on page 25 of The Times Review, which comes with The Times on Saturday (printed Saturday 31st July).

I received an email from the picture editor about it, asking my permission, a few days beforehand. Apparently she had trawled the web looking for pictures of Wistman's Wood, and like the look of mine the best. Better still I can get a reproduction fee as well!

From left to right we have: The column including the picture, a close-up of the picture as it appears in the paper, the original picture, and the thank you letter from The Times.

That's very swanky. I'm really rather impressed.

Well done, John! Although, well done to the reporter, who found a use for your million photos!
