You'd need win 2000 at least. I got apache and PHP working under 95 (my laptop is rather elderly - which is why i'm running windows. Linux runs llike a dog on it) and it turns out gallery don't support win 9x. It was a problem with netpbm. Maybe I should have tried recompiling it but I was p'd off with it by then.

The tivo web server allows you to do most the things you can do from tivo itself, plus a few other things like undelete. It's not official or anything, it's a hack done by the user community. In a festival of nerdyness I am currently adapting the tivo web server to serve wml to my wap phone so that I can tell it to record stuff while i'm in the pub. It's written in tcl, which is quite a cunning script language (although it forces K&R indent style on you, which is a bit evil)

People keep asking me what I want for Christmas. Unfortunately, the one thing I would really like is something not easy to wrap... or find.
Rob Lang

Hurrah! What was the problem? Battery? Start motor? Points? Ignition? From a person whose motor breaks down on a regular occasion, I have learnt a fair amount purely by the errors.
Rob Lang
- Mon Dec 2 14:00:26 2002

Yay! Man from Greenflag fixed it!
