Brighton

Saturday 5th June 2010

A day out in Brighton with Chie and Gav, primarily so that I could buy some new shoes from the ever reliable Vegetarian Shoes. Once there we decided it might be rather nice to explore some of Brighton's rather fine old pubs.

14:18:06 This is me eating a potato latke, shortly after buying some new shoes.14:32:51 Chie on the seafront.15:41:28 Gav's new camera.
15:48:45 The courtyard at the King and Queen.15:48:57 Um, I guess Chie was in charge of the camera here...15:49:05 Enjoying the warm weather outside the King and Queen.
15:50:30 There's the front of the King and Queen, in all its mock Tudor splendour.15:54:26 One corner of the Brighton Pavillion.16:27:54 Gav and Chie eating chips on Brighton Pier. This was just before a seagull made a dive bomb attack on Gav's chips, causing us to hastily retreat under cover.
16:37:22 A view along the beach at Brighton.16:59:55 The Cricketers, quite possibly the oldest pub in Brighton.17:18:02 Me and Gav inspecting one of my new pairs of shoes.
17:22:49 Gav taking a picture of me throwing away my old shoes.17:22:52 That's me coming back from the bin.18:27:09 In the Bath Arms now. Gav seems to have got stuck in a similar pose from the previous picture he appeared in.
18:27:16 Chie relacing my shoe in the Bath Arms.19:14:09 A nice Dewar's Scotch Whisky mirror in the Victory Inn.20:06:06 This is us failing to find somewhere to have dinner, outside Chilli Pickle, which souned excellent but was fully booked.
