There's a funny little patch of earth in the mostly brick patio front garden (note absence of weeds after today's efforts!) which I wanted to do something with. The chap in the front garden suggested Vinca.

Unfortunately today an accident befell Gnomezilla.

I did my best to repair Gnomezilla with some super glue.

Still a gaping hole in the side but he looks mostly OK from the front.

Made Paella for dinner. Bought some new saffron from one of the nearby shops and was amused at the ISO certification on the packaging.
