Today I learned there's a Japanese "maid cafe" in London.

I went to a Sicilian restaurant for lunch on a whim. They had deep fried courgette flowers which were very reasonably priced, and overall good but I'd rather they hadn't used smoked cheese inside.

This is a Sicilian dish called Pane Cunzato, somewhere between a toasted sandwich and a pizza... I'm not sure I instantly warmed to it to be honest, the bread was very hard, almost biscuity.

Later on, back at home, more sabrage in the back garden. This time with a soup ladle.
