Ventured out for a walk to Waterlow Park in the afternoon.

Late elevenses (more like twelvses) in the garden - a mug of tea and a miniature Mr Kipling Battenberg. The latter tasted a bit chemically.

12:03:32
For some reason a closeup on my Pimlico mug.

12:10:14
The daffodils.

13:34:55
Playing with my solar panel again.

14:25:56
In our fleeting visit to Waterlow Park.

14:28:03
Flowers growing in a grass verge in Waterlow Park. Tried to identify them with my "What's that flower?" book but couldn't find a good match - perhaps these aren't a native species.

14:49:42
The view from Dartmouth Park Hill on the way home.

14:50:07
I thought this postbox photo worthy at the time.

15:25:47
Back at home in the garden, I had a play with this little survival tool which I figured out had a striking rod inside to make sparks for starting a fire. Also in the little bag it was stored in was this little plastic spider.

15:45:27
Some cider in the garden later on.

16:39:54
Another cider I sampled this evening - keeving is an alternative process to the traditional method (as used for wine) for making sparkling cider, and it sounds very involved!

I liked the fact the apples were harvested on the winter solstice, and bottled on the spring equinox.
