At Kings Cross to get the train up to Berwick.

09:41:30
About to get on the train at Kings Cross.

10:23:09
Not sure why quite so many photos from the train were necessary - they never come out very well! Here's some windmills.

11:06:11

12:50:07
Newcastle.

12:52:51
Newcastle.

13:20:43
First glimpse of the sea.

13:34:19
Lindisfarne.

13:41:57
There we go.

13:42:14
A bit of silliness for my YouTube channel.

13:42:42

13:43:31

13:43:57
I had to guess in advance what the appropriate size of the letter "y" should be and I think I wasn't far off.

13:44:52
Snow on the tracks at Berwick!

13:45:41
I was excited to be here.

14:08:43
On arrival at St. Abb's after a very convenient taxi.

14:09:48
The village of St. Abb's.

14:13:19
Me by the coast.

14:19:07

14:20:18
Stopped off quickly at the cafe in St. Abb's for a beer...

14:21:29
...and a really bad coffee. Still, the beer was nice!

14:39:13
More views of St. Abb's.

14:39:54

14:44:31
Apparently it was in one of the Thor movies.

14:44:44

14:45:07

14:49:49
A very nice boat shaped picnic table. What a lovely spot for it.

14:52:10
Another nicely placed bench.

14:52:29

14:56:11
Looking back to St. Abb's as I followed the coastal path to St. Abb's Head.

14:56:14

14:58:17
Nice light now.

14:58:20

14:58:32
I was having a lovely time.

14:58:34
...as hopefully the pictures show.

15:00:01

15:00:03

15:03:09

15:11:23
Got down to the sea here, and picked up some kelp (?).

15:20:51
Nice lens flare from the sun here.

16:12:35
After some faffing about and indecision I found a spot to pitch my tent, with hopefully at least a bit of shelter, and a little hillock up above where I could sit and have a wee dram.

16:17:11
Some free advertising for Laphroaig.

16:17:25
Once again I was rather delighted to be here, as hopefully the picture shows.

16:17:27

16:17:30

16:17:52

16:19:31
Nice glimpses of the sun setting.

16:19:39
Although as is often the case I missed some of it while I was faffing around setting up the tent.

16:19:59

16:20:21

16:23:02

16:23:14
What a gratifying scene.

16:34:41
Looking out to sea.

16:37:35

16:37:40

16:40:50
More shots of me with the Laphroaig. Of course, people like me don't get used in advertising these days.

16:40:55

16:42:25

16:43:42
The light fading a bit.

16:45:13

16:50:33

16:56:16

16:58:59
My tent in the fading light.

17:47:17
Making a start on dinner.

18:21:32
The finished meal - haggis, neeps and tatties, with of course, some more Laphroaig.

18:22:00

18:22:02
This was actually really good.

19:08:05
An attempt to do some night photography. Not very successful.

19:37:44
Retreated inside the tent as I was starting to get a bit cold!

20:37:48
Occupied myself in the tent getting a head start on editing the video.

21:57:38
Popped outside and managed a slightly more successful bit of night photography.

21:58:19
This also came out quite nicely I think.
