Went out to retrieve the cork from last night which had flown over the battlements.

There it is.

For breakfast I had one of the camping meals left over from my trip to finish the Ridgeway, to avoid creating any washing up. I ate this up on the roof.

I suppose this made a nice end to my time in the tower.

I had originally intended to stop off for lunch somewhere between Sussex and London, but didn't really see anywhere appealing, so instead as I had to drive across London anyway I decided to divert slightly for lunch at Oliveto.

An alcohol free beer.

...and some linguine with pesto and green beans. Very nice.

My Zipcar safely returned to where I had picked it up on Friday.
