Herefordshire to London
Sunday 7th January 2018
I couldn't get a taxi back to Leominster, it being a Sunday morning, so instead had a 6 or 7 mile walk through the Herefordshire countryside, which turned out to be quite lovely.

It was still a bit dark when I left the cottage!

07:39:38
...and the moon was still in the sky.

07:42:29
Passing the orchard where the wassail had been held last night, it looked strangely empty.

07:42:38
More frosty country lanes.

07:47:10

07:55:51

08:03:16
Some sheep asleep in the field.

08:21:23

08:25:01
I think I'm probably about half way there at this point.

08:31:30
I quite like this picture of the stile with the frosty field and hint of a sunrise beyond.

08:31:34

08:36:59
Passed a church yard.

08:38:23
Another orchard.

08:39:10
Quite a nice old farm building.

08:41:17

08:41:31
Over a little stone bridge.

08:42:22

08:46:06
Some more sheep.

08:46:16

08:59:25
One of those little roadside stones telling you how many miles it is to wherever, for which the name escapes me.

09:31:45
Finally reached civilisation, and had a much needed breakfast in this coffee shop in Leominster.

09:41:35
Outside the pleasingly olde worlde coffee shoppe.

09:49:28
Leominster station, on arrival at which I had a certain sense of achievement.

12:28:00
Reading Country Life again on the train back to London.
