I feel sad

Yes, I feel sad.
Since the “twitterification” of the message board and the new layout given to the homepage of the Maison, nobody has been writing anymore (apart from John). No more articles from Lox. No more articles from Nigel. No more link to Travis and the others.
What’s going on?
Is it the end of the Maison brotherhood?
I can see Lox, Tim, Rob, Tom and John keep corresponding on Twitter. Fine. Nothing to blame. Personally, I can do without. But the articles! Come on guys! Write! And not just about food, please! I’m always interested to know what’s in your mind, not what’s in your plate! The spirit of the Maison is fading away.

I have been about to write articles on Christmas, but in the end I never seem to have time to do it. I have to say that I am to blame for it, I could see twitter taking over the MDS, it's a crying shame, messages are nice but they lack in depth. Will try to write something soon, I promise... hugs and kisses to the family!!

I obviously agree that 140 characters cannot convey the same depth of meaning as a blog article, but that said I still can't understand your complete refusal to engage with Twitter. If nothing else it would be a good way of notifying us when you post something on your blog!

John: I can't really explain why I'm hostile to Twitter. But it doesn't really matter. I would quickly get on everyone's nerves as I don't grasp most exchanges you have with Rob, Tim and the others. Too technical. You often talk about things which are beyond my understanding.

Sheri: but you do not need to understand EVERYTHING... Sometimes I do not understand either, but still send messages that I want to convey to the people following my twits...

Good point Lox! I am the same. That's the good thing about the Maison - it works on all levels. Some of the technical stuff goes over my head too, so I read it but don't comment. However it's great to see what my friends are doing! When I post, you know it's what is happening at that precise moment! :-D
