Fuck it. I'm writing.

One of my professors recommended that I cease my extra-curricular writing so as to focus on my academic career. He said it wasn't that I was unskilled; it was more a case of needing to focus wholly on academics. I tried that. Now I'm finished with it. So, what am I writing?

A screenplay. A feature screenplay. A combination of Euripides' Medea and an urban legend with a bit of Hitchcock's Rope involved. The title? So Many Thoughts of Blood...

Any chance to take a look at it before you start earning shitloads of bucks? :) I find quite strange that a professor tells you to sop doing something extra-work, especially if it is writing. I mean, how could he tell that your work was being affected?

Lox: I don't think he thought that my work was being affected, as he seems to think quite highly of me (justified or no). He just reasons that there's a finite amount of energy even for thought. Thus if I'm using some for extra-curricular work, I'm not using it all on what would amount to my more likely career path.
