Morris Dancing and Insulated Backpack
Tuesday 9th August 2022
Went to the Pineapple for a bit, to catch some of the morris dancing. After that headed to the heath to try out the insulated backpack I'd taken delivery of today, to see how it did at keeping wine cool.

Testing the insulated backpack for size short after it was delivered. In addition to the thermal insulation, it's also apparently watertight, so I thought it would be handy for sticking an ice bucket in - and if some of the ice/water sloshes out of the bucket in transit, it theoretically won't leak.

I joined in for a dance at the end! Alas no photos of that.

On the heath now for a post morris dancing try out of the new chilling system.

It seemed to work pretty well actually, albeit the shape of the wine bucket made it a tiny bit uncomfortable to carry. I bumped into one of the other Dads from Erika's school who was out walking his dogs, and he joined me for a glass or two.

The wine itself wasn't particularly noteworthy - this mixe case of wines from Court Garden has been a bit hit and miss - but it was at least perfectly chilled!
