Tuesday 25th January 2022
The usual Tuesday early evening foray to the heath while Erika was at her woodwork class.
London January 2022
Brought along some Louis Boillot Gevrey Chambertin 2018, of which I have rather a lot (having bought two cases en primeur a couple of years back). Today I wrote: "Not getting much on the nose (maybe 2 degrees celsis isn't an ideal ambient temperature for olfaction?) but lovely on the palate - dainty, velvety, very nice fruity twang then some slight spice / tannis."
Definitely a bit wintery on the heath this evening.
The Boillot and the barrow.
Headed to my favourite spot in the woods for a bit.
Me sitting at the base of one of my favourite trees.
The barrow again.
