One of those times where I think some of the best bits of the sunset seemed to be happening on the way to the heath.

Although still quite a pretty sky as I arrived on the heath.

I think the silhouette of this tree on the slopes of Parliament Hill set against the sunset came out quite nicely.

Headed over to the barrow as the top of Parliament Hill was a bit busy. I always seem to want some kind of fizz on a Friday evening - presumably a lingering habit from the days when I used to actually go to the office, and we'd have end-of-the-week drinks. The cellar is alas devoid of English sparkling at the moment though, so I had to slum it with Champagne instead. Oh and I brought along a bag of Quavers.

The Champagne wasn't great to be honest - I rarely enjoy it now compared to English sparkling.

Nice colour to this Champagne though. If only it were East Meon instead!
