Everflhyt and Andrew on the Heath
Friday 29th July 2022
Tried a new ESW producer today, who had just released their first wines, and I had happened to walk past the vineyard a few years back so I was keen to see how it had turned out. Andrew also came and met me on the heath.

The Everflhyt arrived today.

16:33:09
Decided to sit in this spot slightly down from the top of Parliament Hill, where the view is less interrupted and there aren't so many people.

16:46:25
As I had two bottles it seemed to merit bringing along a bucket to keep them chilled.

16:47:29
The first, their brut NV, was lemony, slightly biscuity, and all round very pleasant, abeit perhaps not a huge attention grabber.

17:47:33
I think I actually preferred the rose, which had a bit more body and gutsiness to it.

19:05:17
More views across Parliament Hill Fields.

Andrew headed home at this point, but as Chie and Erika weren't yet back from their day out I decided to linger longer on the heath. So I waved Andrew off at the edge of the heath and went to get a pizza.

20:33:28
On my return to the heath, the first inklings of a sunset.

20:39:26
When I got back to the top of Parliament Hill there was a film crew there.

20:39:51
Not exactly sure what they were filming.

20:50:27
The bucket seemed to be attracting a lot of attention.

21:04:59
In particular from this dog.

21:21:37
Not very good night time shot of the London skyline.

21:26:28
The top of Parliament Hill as I was leaving.
