Saturday 19th June 2021
Erika drew a picture of the Blue Peter dog in the afternoon in the hope of earning a Blue Peter badge. Later on I went for a walk to the heath and saw a fox on the way home.
London June 2021
Erika's highly stylised drawing of Henry, the Blue Peter dog.
On arrival on the heath.
I brought along some 2014 Chateau Musar. This was very good.
The grey and cloudy view from the top of Parliament Hill where I sat for a while, for a change.
Impressed to see people having brought a gazebo along here.
Through the woods - the "hand shaped" beech tree.
The barrow. Note the freshly mown paths.
The view from near the barrow.
Somebody had set up a tent!
Another glass of Chateau Musar here by the barrow.
Heading back home now, and being just before the summer solstice still plenty of daylight at 9pm.
The roses on the corner of College Lane. Note also the fox's head on the wall here, in keeping with today's theme.
One of the Kentish Town foxes on the way home.
Rounded off the evening with a late visit to the Pineapple, while the tables were still available outside.
...and still not quite dark yet.
