Sunday Roast and the Heath
Sunday 20th March 2022
Went to a pub we hardly ever go to in order to try their Sunday roast. I don't think any of us were particularly impressed though. Later on the girls went off to meet friends (I think) and I headed to the heath for a bit.

The periwinle in our front garden (I think).

At the Bull and Gate. It has some nice pictures on the wall, but for some reason I've never really liked it here.

We thought we'd try out their Sunday roast today. It was OK I guess, a bit overpriced though, and the centrepiece of the vegetarian version was a bit naff.

Close up on the vegetarian Sunday roast.

The cherry blossom on a street near us again.

16:36:18
The girls went off somewhere for the afternoon - I forget where it was now - and so left to my own devices I of course headed to the heath. Nice bt of late afternoon sun shining through whatever this blossom is here.

The view over the bandstand.

Very busy on top of Parliament Hill today!

The barrow.

I found a different spot to sit for a change, trying to hide from the crowds a bit. Tried this Tortochot Gevrey Chambertin - pretty initially, more woody later on. Still nice overall.

Nice sky the other side of the trees.

17:29:04
Sort of a good spot to sit and watch the sunset, if you don't mind these trees obscuring it a bit.

Patch of daffodils - two types in fact.

One last look at the top of Parliament Hill before heading home.
