Tail End of the Sunset
Tuesday 2nd November 2021
Headed to the heath just about in time to catch the tail end of the sunset (it's getting harder as the days get shorter).

On my way to the heath, the sunset was probably at its best at this point.

16:35:20
...past the best bit by the time I got to the heath, but still some nice pink and orange hues in the sky.

16:36:05
The usual view to the bandstand.

16:38:28
The top of Parliament Hill.

16:39:47
It was a mild evening and so there were a fair few people milling about.

16:40:15
The London skyline.

16:41:48
Breaky Bottom's Cornelis Hendriksen, I had forgotten I had this in the cellar.

16:49:35
The light fading more now.

17:48:28
A few stars visible above the barrow.

17:49:51
More crepuscular scenes from the heath.

17:54:41
I went to sit at an unusual spot - the fake barrow - where this pine (?) tree casts interesting silhouettes overhead when it gets dark.

17:55:44
Just before heading home. A lovely stillness to the air this evening.
