I returned to the hotel a bit before dawn (having been rudely awakened by a couple of people who had presumably gone to the same hill to watch the sunrise), so had a couple of hours extra sleep in a proper bed, and then we all had breakfast together.

10:25:40
The crescent in Buxton. Rather smart I thought.

10:26:09
Filling up our water bottles with free Buxton water.

10:26:56
The girls and the drinking fountain.

10:31:37
The bath in the visitor centre.

10:36:32
The stairs up to the Assembly Rooms.

10:38:33
The rather grand interior of the Assembly Rooms.

10:49:56
Erika took this underneath one of the arches of the crescent.

11:26:23
Popped back to the hotel to pick up the car, and set off on our journey home.

12:47:24
Stopped off at the John Smedley factory shop on the way back (somewhere near Matlock-ish), Chie had been wanting to go here for years.

13:37:28
Lunch in this deserted service station (it was on some A road, not the motorway).

13:37:37
A Greggs and a Burger King - what an embarassment of riches.
