Friday 4th November 2005 – At the Kutsunugi's

Posted on 2005/11/06 11:50:00 (November 2005).

Today it was a normal working Friday here in Osaka, went to see some clients, finished to put everything in order at the office and around 8 in the evening we managed to leave the working place to move towards Takarazuka, where my agent Kutsunugi san lives with his family.

If I am not too much trouble and if we have the time, I usually go to stay at his place for one night, so that I can play Playstation with Kyohei, his son, and fight with Lobu-chan, the cat.

As usual we stopped at REI, our favourite restaurant in the area. Mama san is great at cooking all sorts of Japanese things, the food is cheap and abundant, not to mention really great!

I haven't seen Kyohei in ages (see picture above) and he's really grown up, he's 17een, shaping up in a very good way by the looks of things! Shame that looking at him makes me remind of times past, which is bad as it means that I am getting older!! Here you can find a picture from 2004...

We then moved to Kutsunugi san house, for a little more work (I checked my mails and my colleagues had answered some of them so I replied), played at the new Pro Evo Soccer 5, had a friendly encounter with Lobu-chan and finally the Ofuro!

I love the Ofuro, is something that I will surely have in my future house. Basically for the non-Japanese ones, it's a room with a small but deep bath, that gets filled with hot water. A special heater maintains the water hot, and a lid is put on the top to keep the temperature.
Outside the Ofuro there are all things to wash, soaps, sponges, anything that you can think of. After washing and rinsing all the soap instead of getting dried you enter the hot tub for 10 minutes or so... Is so TOTALLY relaxing... Especially in this country where everything is in a rush.

After the bath I then moved towards my bed, for a well deserved rest!

There ! I love illustrated accounts. Much more lively. Pity you don't have any picture of the mentioned Ofuro. Sounds terrific.
