Business trip To Asia

Maison de Stuff | Lox's Main Page | Lox's Pictures

Three weeks full of experiences and adventures... as usual... :)

Frankfurt in the Business Lounge...

Mr.Pyon, driving in Seoul.

The aim of this picture was the "BUY THE WAY" shop in the background... CLASS!

Bibimpap.. I love this food!

More Biimpap action with several other dishes.

This is meant to be clotted blood.

In this restaurant you can have the best grilled pork (Korean Barbeque style) in Seoul.

That's the pork in the process of being made..

Some electronic gizmos that I acquired in Korea...

Leaving Korea is always interesting, this time a strange man with a funny hat wanders around the airport...

Jimmy, and the collection bags!

A nice flower...

The roses are actually made by had, embroided on a silk base.

This is an old Chinese kimono... marvellous...

More Kimono action with wooden frog and purple orchids...

A lobster waiting to be cooked...

Me in front of the fish.

The fish stand where we could choose our dinner.

Richard and Jimmy at the table.

Me and Jimmy with some king prawns.

The alleged Taiwanese drug that in reality didn't have any effect on me...

Eating on a busy Taiwanese street.

Self shoot in the lift.

Giovanna arrives in Japan for the first time in her life!

Quite a nice picture of Giovanna and Kitty chan!

Some store in Sennichi mae in Osaka.

Gio eating a Nikuman (sort of bread paste with pork inside)..

The stairs to the temple near our office...

Niiiice flower...

I was quite amazed by the colours that these flowers seemed to have, it looks like someone painted them!

Same here...

Kutsunugi, Keiko and Giovanna at the shabu-shabu restaurant.

A nice gargoyle looking thing.

Kinkaku-ji from the distance...

More Kinkaku-Ji action.

A CRANE was there drinking...

Crane and some flowers... I wished I had a better zoom...

Gio and the temple.

Close up of the golden plated temple.

The bird right on top of the building. There are more than 300 kilos of gold applied to this structure...

A nice tranquil looking alcove in the premises.

Some turtles.

I liked the idea of helping mother nature to keep the trees up.

Nothing special, an entrance to a restaurant.

But the restaurant had an EXTREMELY special setting inside, I love this shot.

More statues and trees.

The Stone Garden, a Zen place that is world famous for its meditation porpuses.

Shame that there were a million people being generally noisy... :(

More stone garden action here.

Nice little fountain.

Close up. I like this shot too...

Another crane looking bored.

A kimono wearing person looking outside the window of the bus... How poetic...

Giovanna in the HUGE Kyoto station.

Gio and the deers.

Todai-Ji entrance in Nara.

This is the place where the 16mts tall Buddha statue resides.

An incense burner...

The Buddha!

There were several other statues, I did take a picture of them all, but I don't know who or what they are...

Well this one has got a name...

This one looks dangerous!

Nice DANTE looking statue, it is actually a lesser diety that is meant to help you if you stroke the part of its body that correspond with the one that you are having problems with.

Nice tori.

A little hand-washing stand

I tried a strange shot here, I wanted to take out the people and the ugly red fence, but didn't suceed...

Gio in Strabucks

Kutsunugi san waiting for us...

Meji-Jingu.

More Meiji- Jingu, I must have taken a million pictures og this temple.

Night out with John, here we have Gio and John.

John in one of his favourite bars, I loved the place but we didn't sing at the karaoke stand...

John wanting to tap into this bontyful resource of Beer (Sapporo is the brand)...

John and Chie!!! Lovely!

Me and John looking gay (or at least that was the request that Chie passed on)...

Chie drinking beer!

This thing should be banned from the UNIVERSE altogether...

Me and Johnnyboy.

The three of us, a nice lady asked us if we wanted a picture together and there we are!
