Late Dinner

[Friday 9th July] Sank the usual few pints after work, and then wandered a bit unsteadily back home around 9ish. Not long after arriving at home, and having thought I could hang up my boots for the night, I got a call from Chie saying she was coming back from the gym, and bringing a friend (Hiroko) round for dinner. There then ensued an hour or so of semi-drunken attempts to tidy up the flat and cook something, resulting in a number of spillages and minor accidents. In the end we had a very unstructured and laissez faire kind of Japanese meal, including inari sushi, my favourite broad beans with soy and butter, miso soup, and a few other bits and pieces. Actually despite my seeming drunkenness, it all turned out fairly well.
