Saturday in EdinburghPosted on 2005/03/08 22:17:13 (March 2005).  [Saturday 5th March]
Spent the majority of the daytime travelling (first class!) and arrived in Edinburgh just after five. Checked into our hotel and then went for pre-dinner drinks at the whisky society's city centre venue on Queens Street. It was my first time here, and so it was all rather exciting! After that went for an Italian meal at a restaurant just round the corner from the whisky society. Retired to the hotel relatively early, but had to change rooms eventually as it was just too noisy to get to sleep!
