Not much to report. Daytime was relatively uneventful as always, although I did get the chance to talk to a couple of other people I work with, both of whom said they also thought the current project we were working on was basically pretty uninspiring. It made me feel somewhat better to know that I wasn't alone in this respect.
In the evening Chie cooked a kind of yaki soba, and in an attempt to continue with the Japanese theme I got us a bottle of sake at our nearby Waitrose. It has been a while since I've had atsukan (hot sake) and I rather enjoyed it.
