[Saturday 17th February]
Kurihara-kun had stayed with us the previous evening, but today was heading back down to Dorset. So when we finally all surfaced we went out for a very late breakfast (technically lunch) and then waved him off.

We didn't really do a whole lot the rest of the afternoon. Both Chie and I were feeling a bit tired and lethargic, so we just slobbed around our temporary flat place, watched a few episodes of the Simpsons, and I think Chie dozed off for a while in the afternoon.


For dinner I made a determined effort to use up all of the assorted odds and ends we had accumulated in the temporary flat over the past couple of weeks. So we had a sort of pasta meal with Quorn, olive and tomato pasta sauce, green beans, red pesto, that Twineham Grange Parmesan-esque cheese, sun dried tomatoes, etc etc. It actually turned out quite well.
