London from the South Bank

I took the unusual step of crossing the river today as I had a hankering for Kolsch and so there was a German bar called Zeitgeist I wanted to go to, in Lambeth.

The bar was indeed very German, it has German music, German TV, the staff were all German, most of the customers were German, and of course there were lots of German beers.

Rather liked it all in all, was very nice.

Also gave me the opportunity for a nice stroll along the South bank of the Thames, looking back towards the Houses of Parliament etc it really is quite scenic around there.
