Visiting Tim, Akino-san and Ayla

[Sunday 9th December 2012]
We went down to Forest Hill this afternoon, to meet Chie's friend and former colleague Akino-san, her husband Tim, and their baby girl Ayla, who was born around the same time as Erika. It was a bit difficult getting there - it seems trains to that part of the world aren't very good on Sundays, so we had a long ride on the 185 bus. Part way through I realised we'd done almost exactly this journey before, when we went to the Horniman Museum.

We spent most of the afternoon at their flat, eating nachos and talking about babies and buying flats, etc.
